With our apartment we offer our guests a cozy and beautiful home that inspires with its location and facilities.
"The Apart Rauch" is located in the middle of the "Diamond of the Alps" surrounded by 21 three-thousanders directly in Obergurgl a few steps (approx. 200 m) from the ski area and the village center.
In summer in the Ötztal hiking and biking paradise. With us it is pleasantly quiet and yet close to the center. Where nothing disturbs the magic of nature, holidays are a wonderful adventure and experience at any time of the year.
In winter, "Obergurgl" shines bright white at the end of the Ötztal Alps, surrounded by 21 three-thousanders and delights its guests with extensive cross-country ski trails (40 kilometers) and in the immediate vicinity of the Sölden ski area with its 2 glaciers and over 150 kilometers of groomed slopes.

The village of Obergurgl-Hochgurgl at the far end of the Ötztal is one of the best and snowiest ski areas in Tyrol and the Alps. The "Diamond of the Alps", as the tranquil mountain village with international flair proudly calls itself, draws its radiance from sunny pistes from 1,800 to 3,080 meters, modern mountain railways with no waiting times and upscale hotels and mountain restaurants. Due to the altitude, the ski area in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl is one of the first in Austria to open its 25 lifts and 120 kilometers of slopes for skiing, snowboarding and freeriding in mid-November - and this guarantees the very best conditions for your winter holiday until the end of April! The "Ötztal Superskipass" has been available since 2020, giving winter sports enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the concentrated power of the Ötztal in one ski pass. The Sölden ski area with its 2 glaciers and over 150 kilometers of groomed slopes is also in the immediate vicinity.

361 kilometers of slopes, 90 lifts and 6 ski areas - with the Ötztal Superskipass* you have free travel on all slopes in the valley. The well-known ski destinations Sölden and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl as well as the family-friendly regions in Hochoetz-Kühtai, Niederthai, Gries and Vent are included.

In summer an almost unlimited selection of sports and leisure activities awaits you. These include over 180 km of running paths, the two-wheeled nation of Sölden with the "Bike Republic" and the legendary bike marathon, over 200 km of hiking trails, probably the most fascinating thermal baths in the Alps, the "Aqua Dom" in Längenfeld and much more.

The variety of movements in Längenfeld and Sölden / Obergurgl is not yet exhausted. In addition to the running offer, various via ferratas, 200 routes in climbing gardens, signposted mountain bike trails with more than 80 km of routes and the unique hiking offer with 17 huts and alpine pastures provide active entertainment.
